This is because it exercises most of the body’s muscles and is low impact meaning even people who have injuries or certain health conditions can participate. You will likely have public swimming pools that only charge a small fee or beaches in your area where you can go for a swim for free.

2. Hiking

Hiking is a fun activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family. You are sure to find hiking trails in your area that are either free or only charge a small entry fee. Hiking comes with the added advantage of scenic trails that will help you feel to calm and to de-stress. You can combine surfing with a picnic at the beach and you can stay to watch the sunset, which makes for a full relaxing day.

Biking is a great way to exercise. It is good for the environment and is essentially cost-free if you already own a bike. If you don't own a bike, you can rent one at a small fee. You can go on a bike ride around your neighbourhood or if you are looking for something with better views and more of a challenge, you can go biking on trails closest to you.
