Macarthur Square $240 million expansion now open
The fifth largest shopping centre in NSW and biggest in southwest Sydney is now Macarthur Square after the $240 million redevelopment opened. The new expansion includes a much larger Coles, the long-awaited top level of David Jones, a food terrace that includes Inlakesh Living Foods, Cha Time and Sahara Grill, and 500 car spaces.
Lendlease head of retail, Gary Horwitz said, “Our customers have told us they want to visit a world class shopping centre without having to travel to the city. The redevelopment of Macarthur Square has allowed us to grow with the region and adapt to the changing demographics and needs of our local customers, ultimately delivering an outstanding, all-encompassing, and sustainable retail experience.” This world class shopping centre will put Campbelltown on the map and create jobs stated Campbelltown Mayor George Brticevic.
