Once again, DPN been named as a finalist in the Better Business Awards for Best Independent Office (5 brokers or less). In 2018, we were honoured to win Innovator of the Year at the Better Business Awards, and we’re excited to be shortlisted for yet another prestigious award.

DPN has been shortlisted for the Best Independent Office (5 brokers or less) category.
DPN's nomination highlighted our strong business performance in FY2020 with a 16% year on year growth of our loan book value. We also implemented significant technical and digital integrations into our broker business, while reengineering processes. Our flexible workforce were already set-up to work from home well before the COVID-19 pandemic, hence our business continued as usual, even growing during the lockdown period.
Sam Khalil, DPN Managing Director, said that he was humbled to be recognised and proud to be named as a finalist again for the Better Business Awards 2021.
“DPN’s recognition for our excellent contribution to the finance industry reinforces the strength of our service and dedication to connecting with the community and engaging with clients,” he added.
The Better Business Awards 2021 recognises the leading players in Australia’s mortgage and finance broking industry, and the annual awards celebrates Australia’s top brokers, networks, innovators, leaders and aggregators on a state-by-state basis. It provides an unparalleled platform for individuals and businesses to be commended for their tireless efforts in helping Australian borrowers access finance and for consistently exceeding consumer expectations.
The awards program champions the individuals and businesses from each state and territory within Australia who are leading the way and who best demonstrate effective customer service, strong business strategy, and good consumer outcomes.
The Adviser is excited to celebrate the achievements of the leaders in the broking industry.
Annie Kane, Editor of The Advisor commented “The past year has been an incredibly busy one for mortgage and finance brokers, as they worked around the clock to help support their clients when the pandemic began. Whether it was reaching out to clients to let them know what support was available to them, refinancing them into a better deal, or enabling them to enter the property market for the first time, brokers have been intrinsic to ensuring that Australian borrowers were able to access the finance they needed, when they needed it most. Congratulations to all of the finalists.”
The winners of the Better Business Awards 2021 will be announced at an in-person awards night at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on Thursday, 24 June 2021.
