It's been less than a year since DPN Casa Capace welcomed its first resident home, and we are ecstatic to be recognised as a 2020 finalist in two categories for The Urban Developer Industry Excellence Awards.

DPN Casa Capace is a finalist in two categories: Excellence in Industry Leadership and Development of the Year – Social Infrastructure.
The Urban Developer Industry Excellence Awards recognises the best of urban development across Australia and New Zealand. The awards provide a platform for us to celebrate leadership and success in the industry, whilst providing a showcase to the broader community of the people, programs, places and projects that are positively shaping our cities.
After a record number of submissions and an extensive qualifying process, DPN Casa Capace was shortlisted as a finalist in two award categories: Development of the Year – Social Infrastructure and Excellence in Industry Leadership. The finalists in each category are innovative, distinguished and showcase leadership in the industry.
For the Development of the Year – Social Infrastructure award, the DPN Casa Capace pilot home is up against URBNSURF Melbourne, Woodcroft Neighbourhood Centre, Bayswater Women's Housing 2 and Somerset Specialist Centre.
DPN Casa Capace was also nominated for the Excellence in Industry Leadership award alongside Homes for Homes, Hub Home Foster Care Project, AccessAccom Specialist Disability Accommodation Apartments, Glebe Affordable Housing Project and Build In Good (B.I.G.) Philosophy.
Winners in each category will be announced over the course of The Urban Developer Award’s Winner’s Month which begins on 23 November 2020.
Casa Capace is a stand alone, social impact business, incubated within the DPN Group, sharing the same values and leveraging DPN’s core capabilities to provide quality housing for Australians with disabilities. A DPN Casa Capace home is beautifully designed with practical features to help people with specialist accommodation needs to live the life they want.
