NRL star Wade Graham, has today announced he will work with DPN as an ambassador to support DPN’s mission to help Australians Get Financially Fit.
Wade Graham is a leading NRL player and captain of the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks. He’s a NSW State of Origin player and has also represented Australia, with a career highlight in leading the winning World Cup Rugby League 9s side in 2019. As a community role model, Wade is passionate about health, wellbeing and achieving your personal best.

Wade Graham will be the Ambassador for DPN’s Get Financially Fit program which launches this week with an events and education program to follow aimed at increasing financial literacy.
DPN specialises in Property Investment, with a head office in Cronulla and around 60 staff. The team is on the front line when it comes to helping clients achieve their financial goals and have seen a need to provide education to help clients better understand their finances and make informed decisions.
Wade explains why he partnered with DPN, “I myself in the past have been unsure about what to do when it comes to finance and life after sport. Planning for the future is important and DPN has provided me with guidance and support to make sensible decisions when it comes to property investment.”
“For many people, managing money is simply not something they were taught in school. Plus, they may not see finance as an exciting topic to sit in a room and discuss. DPN’s Get Financially Fit program aims to engage the community in a fresh, fun and thoughtful way through events and education to improve financial literacy.” Explains Elissa Dowler, Enterprise Strategy Leader.

According to the National Financial Capability Strategy, there are some concerning statistics regarding our nations’ financial literacy. On the Financial Capability government website - financialcapability.gov.au, statistics show:
- over 1 in 2 people (55%) are anxious when they think about their financial situation in retirement, and
- close to 1 in 4 (23%) believe that nothing they do will make much difference to their financial situation, and
- close to 1 in 5 (18%) didn’t save any money in the last 6 months.
The National Strategy identifies three behavioural areas in which Australians can be empowered to take control of their financial lives:
- Managing money day-to-day
- Making informed money decisions
- Planning for the future
DPN will run a series of live and online events, education sessions, discussions and workshops suitable for the general public, community sporting clubs and businesses who are looking to empower their staff.
Drawing upon DPN’s own expertise and that of specialist providers, DPN has an extensive education program with topics such as the Financial Fitness Bootcamp, an introductory module covering the framework needed to get your finances into shape, as well as more specific, practical workshops covering areas such as Money Mindset, Getting into the Property Market, Budgeting and Smashing Down Debt, Understanding Property Investment and more.
While DPN frequently runs events and workshops to corporates and the general community, having Wade Graham onboard helps DPN add greater visibility to the work being done.

"It’s exciting that we’re able to personally work with Wade in building wealth through property.”, explains DPN Director, Lloyd Thomas.
“Wade Graham is role model both on and off the field. It’s exciting that we’re able to personally work with Wade in building wealth through property, and we believe his involvement will create greater awareness of the work we are doing to help people to take control of their financial future.”, explains DPN Director, Lloyd Thomas.
The partnership kicks off at the start of NRL season and no doubt the Cronulla based team at DPN are right behind Wade and the Sharkies!
