Growth in the Surf Coast, Wyndham and Bellarine
Wyndham is Victoria’s second fastest growing region
In five years, the Wyndham population has increased by a third per the 2016 Census data. The Surf Coast and Bellarine also grew significantly, 18.4%, from 2011 to 2016. By 2050, 200,000 people are expected to move to Geelong, Bellarine and the Surf Coast. With this amount of growth, it will be important for each city to provide enough infrastructure to keep the area livable. The current population of Victoria is at 6.2 million, and with State Government upgrades expected in the future, like the regional rail improvements, it will only continue to strengthen over time making Victoria, specifically Wyndham, a great place to invest.
