The tallest development for Werribee’s city centre approved
Plans for a 10-storey mixed-use apartment block have been approved by the Wyndham council. At 38 metres high, it would be the tallest development for the Werribee city centre and include two blocks of land at Watton Street and one block at Synnot Street. This $15 million development will include 50 apartments, 38 offices, a restaurant, and two retail premises.
“The apartment-style dwellings proposed meet an identified market gap within the locality and appeal to a variety of people in all age groups that choose to live close to existing infrastructure and do not want large backyards,” reads the planning application. Residents will be within the heart of the activity centre where they can take advantage of public transport, shops and facilities.
