With an increase in tourism and strong job growth, Bendigo is recording population growth greater than the national average with a 1.8 per cent increase from 2018 to 2019.
According to projections, Bendigo's population is forecasted to grow by nearly 38,000 by 2036, following Greater Geelong and Ballarat in regional Victoria.
