Ken’s lending experience began with twenty two years at the Commonwealth Bank, fourteen of those were in lending, holding various positions in Home Loans and Commercial Lending. Ken quickly became one of the Bank's most experienced lenders in home, commercial and SMSF lending. Following this Ken became a Mortgage Manager, assessing and approving loan applications from mortgage brokers.
In the past 18 years, Ken has worked for several Mortgage Managers in credit assessment and credit manager roles. The various positions held include Credit Officer, Head of Credit, State Credit Manager and National Credit Manager. Having held numerous approval delegations up to $2 million - in home, commercial and SMSF lending - Ken has over the past 18 years personally approved over $1 billion in loans under his approval delegation. Ken’s current DLA is $2 million.
Ken has a high level of attention to detail and strives to ensure that all matters are dealt with correctly the first time. His comprehensive knowledge and ability to problem solve, has seen him successfully process some of the most challenging loan applications.
In his spare time, you will find Ken out for a run, riding a mountain bike in the Royal National Park, swimming some laps or taking the dogs to the local park. He enjoys spending time with family and being actively involved in the clubs that his kids belong to.
