For over 15 years, Direct Property Network (DPN) has been helping Australians create wealth through property accumulation to gain financial independence.
DPN emerged from a financial planning firm that provided a wide variety of services including superannuation, insurance, estate planning, property investment, accounting and a number of other investment classes. Over time we found that Australians loved and felt more comfortable with direct property as an asset class above all the other services we provided.
Amazingly, the financial planning industry was mainly focused on managed funds and shares.
We found that most people who wanted to invest in property had limited options and resources available. They would often look online or in their own neighbourhood to figure out what might be a good investment to buy without any real science behind their process. We believed property investors needed an objective approach to investing in property based on independent research and a sound methodology, not just emotion and personal preference. People were also time poor and needed someone to handle the process from beginning to end, making sure they had access to proven professionals along the way.
DPN's founders, Sam Khalil, Sean Blattman and Lloyd Thomas were very passionate about property and it was an easy decision to make property our sole focus. Each of us has had over a decade of experience as a licensed finance broker, financial planner and real estate agent. We blended these skills and experience into a service that our customers found both informative and rewarding.

As we became known for our strict research-driven approach, our business grew at a rapid rate, purely from word-of-mouth, firstly from our own customers and then quickly through other professionals. Accountants, often very conservative by nature, were comfortable with our thoroughness and subsequently sent their clients to us for assistance. This was the answer they had been waiting for since they were often asked about property investment and tax reduction without being able to provide a service or company they could be confident of. They much preferred this to the many poor decisions they had seen clients make on their own or at the hands of unscrupulous marketers.
David Khalil, who had been working in financial services for over 10 years with a number of national financial organizations building systems and franchise models, was brought in to help accommodate DPN’s growth. Year on year our team has continued to expand, ensuring we provide our customers with the personal service and attention they have come to enjoy from us.
DPN has continued to grow substantially with more professionals such as financial planners, solicitors and finance brokers joining the network and encouraging their clients to utilize our services. We have also established our Corporate Services to allow organizations to make DPN’s services accessible to their executives and staff alongside traditional financial planning and superannuation providers.
Sam Khalil, Lloyd Thomas and David Khalil are experienced public communicators able to engage crowds of any size, in a humorous and educational manner, regarding property investment and motivating people to achieve their goals. They are available for public seminars or for executive teams and professionals.
We personally and corporately have a commitment to being generous and sharing our wealth with those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
