Great leaders help others shine. We're looking for someone who does both, and who genuinely enjoys building the kind of referral relationships that grow a business the right way.
You'll mentor the team through complex deals, own key lender and stakeholder relationships, and drive the performance that turns opportunity into settlements. We want someone who can roll up their sleeves when needed, while keeping one eye on the bigger picture.
We work with a huge panel of lenders and have a genuinely attractive package on offer including competitive base + super + commissions. The role is based at our stunning designer offices in Cronulla, with the option of 1-2 days working from home.
What you’ll be doing
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of onshore brokers and offshore support staff
• Setting the standard for client experience, deal quality and team performance
• Managing workflows and ensuring the team is converting opportunities effectively from lead through to settlement
• Building and nurturing lender and affiliate relationships that support business growth
• Collaborating with marketing and business development to grow and diversify deal flow
• Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and how the team works day to day
• Staying close to complex deals where your expertise and experience makes the difference
What you'll bring
• 5+ years’ experience in mortgage broking
• Proven ability to lead or mentor support teams successfully
• Strong lender relationships and accreditation across majot lenders
• Strong knowledge of residential and investment lending structures
• Experience managing complex credit scenarios
• MFAA or FBAA accreditation highly regarded
